There are two kinds of 22 pin automotive connectors. One is waterproof connector, it often match with rubber wire seal or seal plug. The waterproof function can improve the adaptability of the environment to the equipment and prevent foreign matter from entering the connector and causing short circuit.
The other type is non-waterproof type connector and housing it should be used in the dry area, there is no waterproof requirements.
