Harness fixing design is a very important item in the design of harness layout, and its main forms mainly include tie wrap, buckle and support.
(1) Tie wraps
The tie wrap is the most used protective material for fixing the harness, mainly nylon tie wraps. Most of the fixing of the harness is completed with tie wrap. The function of the tie wrap is to fasten the harness and make it firmly and reliably fixed on the body sheet metal hole, bolt, steel plate and other parts to prevent the harness from being damaged by vibration, displacement or interference with other components. There are many kinds of tie wraps.
(2) Buckle
The function of the clip is the same as that of the tie wraps, which is to fix the protective harness. Materials include PP, PA6, PA66, POM and so on. The commonly used snap types include T-type snap, L-type snap, pipe clamp snap, connector snap and so on.
(1) The electrical box is generally fixed with nylon tie wraps, or directly installed on the vehicle body with the fixed structure designed by the electrical box itself;
(2) The sheaths butted between each harness are generally collectively fixed with sheath supports and installed on the vehicle body;
(3) Each wire harness is generally fixed in the body hole with tie wraps, hooks and so on. And most of the body holes are round holes or elliptical holes.
